I am 15 now and I see that everyone always seems to have a 'crush'. I have never had one. I regularly fantasize about people (particularly boys, I am either confused or BI) but I have never actually had any feeling other than this.

Am I the only one?

No, I dont think you are the only one at all. Virtually no relationships that people claim to have at younger ages will survive anyway, its like play really, trying out for the real thing. Some people just dont understand or bother with the play stage.

I agree with Nick and that's a really good explanation - lots of people when they are going through puberty and after that are 100% focused on dating and crushing and relationships and all that, while some people don't worry about it at all. It's normal no matter what you do!

I agree with both of them above me, High School is just like the training ground for relationships and life, Nothing wrong with not having any feeling towards anybody. If anything it probly helps you focus on grades and school. Don't worry about it, You got college to go through. There is someone out there for everyone!

Hope that helps!

It's not suprising at all. At least you're not a 35 year old man living with his mother! :)

Puberty for Boys:arrow:Relationships and Dating

This thread is being moved because it has nothing to do with puberty other than feelings.

I think its normal. You should count yourself lucky! Once you start liking people, and its an actual 'crush' then it can be hard to get over that. And then as soon you get over someone, it seems to be someone else, then you can't stop thinking about them, and they dont want a relationhip or whatever, it can become obsessive. Don't worry one day you'll find someone!

And I don't necessarily agree that all high school relationships are meaningless or don't last. One of my friends started dating a guy in 8th grade. It's now been over 2 years and their still together. Don't under estimate the value of relationships just because your young.
