View Full Version : Failure at this, really. Just a little failure.

I had gone so long.
My new years resolution was to go until July without cutting.
I had made it to April.
Then kept spiraling down. I don't think I've gone more than a few weeks since.
I can't stop the urges. I barely have control of them.
And i can so much easier hide the cuts...

No, not really.
I'm not in any position to get anything outside of the school, but I don't want to try that route again since they have to tell your parents.

You were over half way completing your goal.
Maybe this year you should make your resolution to get to June or May.
And its not your fault you get the urges, I do to and they are also hard to control.
I don't want to try that route again since they have to tell your parents.
Have your parents already known? How did they take it?

They don't, but only because the last time I was in a different building and the counselor was basically incompetent (as has most of my experiencing with anyone who can call themselves a Md or PhD)
I was, but then I failed.
July. Six months. Before that I had proven myself capable of 4. I wanted to go past it, but apparently that's not possible, some fucking roadblock comes in the way.

Kyle you can get over that roadblock, nothings stopping you but yourself and you can get past that. You want to get better than 4 months, you can get better than 6 months and you can get past it.
Nobody ever said it was easy, it's a long tiring battle but it'll be worth it in the end.
You might not be able to stop the urges coming, but you can control them however bad they are, it might seem like you're losing at times, and those are the times it's vital you don't give up.
You're not a failure.
You're so much better than it hun, you can do it :hug3:

You made it four months that is AMAZING!
Quitting was never going to be easy, you just have to take it one step at a time
Try setting yourself smaller goals, start and weeks and work it up to months
I know you can do this, i believe in you
Take care, Bella :)x

 That's bull and you know it kitty. You can do anything you set your mind to. I'm gonna be here for you every step of the way. I'm sorry I passed out last night. It's gonna be a long fight, we both know that, but you know what else I know? I know you're gonna beat this. It may take years, but you're gonna beat this. I love you.

Kyle, you can do it. You made 4 months which is amazing. As everyone else as said you can get past the roadblock, you just have to keep trying. Try getting rid of your blades and distracting yourself whenever you need to cut. I'm always here for you if you want to talk :)
