Snake Bite Piercings?

For my 16th birthday(January) my mom is letting me get snake bites, and i was curious to the opinions of people on VT. What do you guys think of Snake Bites?
Also, if you've had the person done to yourself, how bad would you say it hurt?

I'd agree, I don't look right with snake bites, but I do with spider bites... So just think if they'll suit you :)

For you, I think it would be fine. I'm not a fan of piercings on myself and I personally prefer the single tongue piercing, but I agree with Kyle.

i love snake bites there sexi...and i have snake bites and it didnt hurt...just use big hoops as a starter then when the swelling goes down use whatever personally i like hoops better than studs

I think snake bites are fine, but piercings that use cbrs or horseshoe rings or circular rings make people look more harsh. They have this edge that may or may not be good. It just bothers me because I know that they have "something" in them.

I gotta say i don't really like snake bites, but they look amazing on some people. I have just the right side of my lip pierced, and i've gotta say-it's definatley the most painful piercing i've had. I mean, my nose was worse when it was done, but the after pain, lip was definatley worst.

I got a lip piercing (originally supposed to be snakebites) and personally, it hurt a lot, but was soooo worth it. (: It all depends on your pain tolerance?

Doesn't Hurt when its going in, but around midway it starts feeling like something it pinching your lip, then when it pops through the other side, it feels like someone stapled your lip. xD (which they pretty much did?)

I got the fake ones first to see what it would look like, thats what you should do. :D

I would not reconmend snake bites, you could get fake piercings and don't worrk about holes in your lips...but that is my point of view, but it's your life so make what you want out of it...
