hey everyone! i need some advice.

I'm 15 years old, and i need to start shaving my face on a more regular basis.
i've already been shaving for almost a year now, but not much (once a month) and i just stole my Dad's stuff.
But the problem is that now I need to shave more often, I can't exactly take his stuff every week, so I need to ask him if he can get me some shaving stuff, but I never talk to my Dad about puberty and stuff like that, so it's difficult and I don't know how to bring it up and ask him.

Any advice?
How old were you when you started shaving your face?
How did you ask for shaving things?

Thanks :)

Don't shoot me for being in the guy's forum pwease :D
I can't answer the question on face shaving, but:
Asking your dad for shaving equipment shouldn't be too much of a problem. I doubt the fact that you steal his stuff has gone unnoticed to him and I'm sure he won't mind you asking him a simple request - it's not like it's something that he's likely to disapprove of.
Just casually drop it into conversation - shouldn't be that much of a big deal.

Hope this helps you.

I've been shaving for a while now but tbh its not something to make a big deal out of. Your dads going to notice you're shaving more because 1. You'll have a lot more hair to keep up with and 2. his shaving foam is decreasing without him using it, so therefore you must be shaving lmao. Just go and talk to him about needing some razors and whether he'd be ok with you sharing his can of foam or whether you should buy your own.

Talking about shaving your face is not really that embarassing, your parents will know you need to shave. Why not just buy your own things then you dont need to say anything at all.

Don't worry about asking your dad about this. Why be embarrassed about talking about shaving? It's what men do regularly. At least you're not talking about how your penis stinks or something. Now that would be embarrassing. "Dad...ever feel a little stale...down there??"

I would just ask him, hey, I need to start shaving, can we go buy some stuff for me? That's how I did it and I had to ask my mom that, since my parents divorced.

I started shaving on New Year's Eve 2009, when I was 16. Best decision ever.
