Well, no offense chico, but that's actually the more mature way to go about a relationship. The puppy love stuff is rather childish.

How do you want her to treat you, exactly?

I kind of agree with Sage here. Ignoring someone is one thing, treating as equals with others is another. Exactly what is wrong?

Well... I mean, I hang out with alot of girls. So I get that "Are you two going out..?" alot.. I wish I would get that about me and Alex.

Like Sage said. That's more of a mature way of treating a relationship.

If you really want attention, you need a more trashy girlfriend.

Get your dad to buy you a hooker. It worked wonders for my self esteem. : )

I.. Kind of agree with you?

I mean, I wouldn't want my girlfriend to treat me the same as anyone else, not meaning like..

Well, I don't mean I want her to treat me BETTER, just.. Different, if it makes sense.

I think she's just taking it slow. Like everyone else said, it's the most mature way to go.

She obviously values what you two have, considering you've only been going out for two months. Things will naturally escalate once time progresses and she feels ready. But I understand what you mean by wanting some attention from it, but hey, you give some and you lose some. Things will balance out if you're both willing to be patient. :)

I mean.. My first seious relationship lasted three months. And on our first date we made out like 10 times, and made out in front of a 7 year old. It was a homecoming basketball game. Is it just me getting used to not getting all that in just two months..??

But.. Did I mention she has never made out with anyone, And I was her second kiss..?

She could also be treating him the same way as my boyfriend's friend was treated by his ex-girlfriend. Not really more than friends even if they were 'dating'. She didn't really acknowledge him as a boyfriend, kind of just was with him for the sake of being with him and when they were alone they didn't do anything either. So she basically was ignoring the fact that he exists lol. But it sounds like the girl here isn't ignoring him, just treating him the same way which is good because she's not one of those girls who are like OMG I LOVE HIM SO MUCH WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR TWO WEEKS AND I KNOW IT'S FOREVER. And.. you're thirteen, might as well enjoy it and not rush into serious relationships. Plenty of time for that later.

You're 13, stop worrying about the fact that you aren't making out with her, there's really no need to be worried about that.

I think you need to relax. She's probably just taking it slow, what do you expect? Hardcore makeout sessions 24/7? That's on reality. I'm sure you have a very sweet girl. If this is so much of a problem for you, then talk to her about it. If not, then take initiative, maybe peck her on the lips here and there when you guys are out with friends, just to show a tiny, acceptable amount of affection. Good luck :)

Can teenagers not keep it in their fucking pants for five minutes? Dude, don't worry about it. Most marriages don't get that much action in two months.

.. Maybe where you come from, but i don't live in an abstinence colony, and i doubt he does either. Husbands and wives make out, and more, probably several times a week. Even more probably when there young.

Anyway, you really shouldn't do that in public.. Maybe in private, and in front of a 7 year old? Really? thats just nasty, and you shouldn't be proud of it.

It's called hyperbole. It's still quite a lot.

... Why all of a sudden does everyone start bitchin' on me...?
I just wanted to vent. You guys don't have to reply..
Well, Today, In Homeroom, Me and Alex and my friend Gabby were sitting there she said like 15 words to me in 45 minutes...!! Wtf...??? And Gabby went to go use the bathroom and she said nothing to me, As soon as Gabby left she stopped laughing and just sat there, I mean what the crap..?!?! And everyone just asks, "What's wrong Trenton..?". I mean, I know I wanna break up with her, But I love her no matter what, She is an amazing, beautiful person, She's just not the date type of person, I mean, She was an amazing friend but just not a good gf, I wanna break up with her but I don't wanna lose her...
I feel like a jerk.. Just makes me wanna go crazy..

I think you have a skewed idea of what exactly constitutes a good girlfriend, and that this line of thinking is the source of your relationship insecurities.

jealous are we?

Uh, no. Anyone who's followed any of the more personal posts I've made on this forum, my member board on here, my blog, the chatroom, or off-site conversations would know that at this point in my life I've made it perfectly clear that I have no interest in pursuing a relationship of my own and that I'm absolutely content being single.

If you want to discuss this further with me, do it through a private message. This is Trenton's thread, not mine.
