Finish the sentence.

In my opinion, they are only considered abnormal because they don't lead to reproduction.

Finish the sentence.
Normal can be used as a synonym for average and your average person doesn't get it on with the opposite sex or have kinky sex on a regular basis.

How do we know that the average person doesn't have kinky sex?

Never said they didn't, I just feel comfortable making the assertion that it doesn't happen on a regular basis.

EDIT: I feel I should clarify what I mean by kinky. I'm not talking about regular sex that's hotter than usual. I'm referring to indulging in fetishes and/or sexual behavior that is more than simply changing positions once in a while.

because they're from a different culture, a historic minority, that has been shunned for thousands of years.

Homosexuality and other "abnormal" sex practices are considered abnormal because of people spreading stories, propaganda, 'majority' rule and general scaremongering.

They are abnormal because this document commonly known as Leviticus, that was supposedly inspired by the word of god, and are in-tune with his wants for humanity, says they are.

Most sex doesn't lead to reproduction.

Most sex doesn't lead to reproduction.

Yeah, if sex that doesn't lead to reproduction was considered abnormal, there would be no condom industry.

That' a statement I can agree with. Condoms have multiple uses; birth control doesn't.

I'm glad that the Australian-Asian and the Canadian can find common ground. This is a great day.

Funny, nobody ever seems to hassle or call me out when I provide mock-opinions on this board.

My questioning of his answer was in fact a parody of people who take joke answers too seriously.

...because people like to automatically fear and scold what they don't understand/are too ignorant to even bother to understand.

...because a big chunk of society practices solipsism, or at least act like they do.

I think it actually does have other medical applications besides, well, controlling birth.
