How To Deal With Ignorance?

I'm bisexual. Have been since I was born, accepted it when I was 13. I get crap a lot saying I'm just pretending, or I'll grow out of this phase. I even got called a dyke once.. which doesn't make sense, since I'm not a lesbian?...but it doesn't matter. It hurts. & me being the stupid sensitive little girl I am, take it too personally. How can I just put up with this?

That must be a very difficult situation :( But you got to be strong and ignore those people who don't accept you for who you are. Don't pay attention to them and things will get better! Don't let a few people tear you down. Keep your head up and be who you are and proud of yourself!

Best thing to do, although it may seem hard, is to ignore it. You're the better person for doing so, you don't let narrow minded people tell you who you are, you're your own person. You know yourself you aren't pretending, so don't let it bother you so much. If you need to talk, VM or PM me.

These buggers thrive on reactions, so alike to what the other two have said, ignore them. If they don't get a reaction, they've got nothing to feed off of.
If you show you're not bothered, or even that you (pretend to) like what they're saying, they'll just stop it because they want to see you upset!

Dont listen to those other kids, they just probably make fun of you and hurt your feelings it would probably be because you are bi and they wanna make you feel diffferent, in my case those who are bi are perfefctly normal, gay perfectly normal, straight ehhhh, who cares, (sry if anyone takes that last part to heart) but either way in my eyes everyone's different, you did a very courageous thing about letting everyon Kno your bi. next time they make fun of you ignore them
