Hey guys,
Well I'm a guy and I have a bit of a weight issue. I probably need to loose around 30-40lbs. I want to loose it but I'm having a lot of trouble. I eat healthy and I walk to school (Around 5 miles to get there and another 5 miles back) every day.

Yet I find I am still extremely unfit(I'm always out of breathe) and I still put on weight. I piled on loads of weight when my parents died a few years back and I have never seem to have been able to shed it.

I'm 15 and 5"7 and weigh 11 stone 7lbs/ 168.3lbs.

PS. I've also been trying to gain muscle but I find it extremely difficult at my weight.

Sorry to hear about your parents :( that must have affected your eating habits a lot.

What is your diet like? Walking 10 miles a day won't affect your weight much if you get home and load up on fatty foods etc.
If your diet isn't good, then I suggest trying to cut back on things you know are bad for your health and weight - try replacing them with healthier alternatives, that way the exercise you do will be more affective and you're more likely to lose weight.
Then, as you begin to get accustomed to your diet and walking to and from school, you might want to consider including more vigorous exercise, which will help burn fat.

Feel free to ask for more advice if there's anything I've said that you're not sure of.
Hope this helps.
