What type of listener are you?

So...here's a poll. I tried to make as few poll choices as possible so choose the one you feel suits you best.

Popular Music:
"I like new, cool, and hip music. If a lot of people listen the music, its normally because it's good."
Classic Bands:
"I like to listen to the great bands of the 60s, 70s or 80s. Classic rock or metal is the best. Most modern artists suck and aren't worth listening to."
Underground:
"I'm an underground junkie. Most people have never heard of the artists i listen to. I listen to a lot of different genres from any decade and i'm always looking for new and interesting music."

This thread is not about bashing mainstream music.
And if you guys hijack this thread by talking about how bad(or good) Justin Beiber is, I will have you castrated and shot.

By your definitions, I'd go with underground- I do like a very wide variety of genres and don't care what year things were released, however, I wouldn't say most things I listen to are that obscure.

By the definition of underground, I'd say that is what I am. But, I'm sticking with Tim, not all the stuff I listen to is really that obscure.

I listen to a mix of classic rock and newer rock/alternative/metal. So... I don't know what to categorize that under. People know the bands I listen to. A lot, and I mean a lot, of people don't like the groups I listen to though.

I've always been an underground music lover. Mainstream status of music really just repels me. And very few of the artists I listen to are ever known by people I come across. It's great to wear concert shirts of underground artists though, everyone's either confused or rudely curious.
