Mom and the doctor

I have to go for a check up in 2 weeks and my mom is taking me. I have to get bare and i don't want my mom to go in there with me. she says it's mandatory, is that true? and what can i say to them when i get there? tell them i dont want her in tere when i am stripping?

When i went he asked her to look away and i wasnt completely bare either i just pulled pants down just a little and had a gown thing on at the same time so he could only see.I was more worried about the doctor touching down there :( but it wasnt bad and she couldnt see anything. I couldnt see them asking you to be completely nude.

Where I am, I don't think that it's mandatory to have a family member in there whilst having a physical done, but if it is, you can ask the doctor if she could leave. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Relax, she's your mother, not a child molestor. The only thoughts that should be going through her head are is everything normal and I hope my son is comfortable and feels safe with this.

Its possible that your doctor may like to have a parent present as a protection against possible accusations of inappropriate activity if you were alone with him. Your mum will understand its embarassing for you and would most likely look away anyway.

You tell yout mom you don't want because it feels uncomfortable. It's your right to be alone with the doctor, and if she tries to convince you otherwise she is working against the law.

if it is a simple test and u feel uncomfortable ask her to leave - or have your pa take u.

ok first of all the guy that said its against the law for your mom to go in there with you doesn't know what he's talking about.

second my mom always comes in with me and yea i do have to strip. it's really not a big deal. she's your mom and she's there to protect you and find out what's up with your health. if you're a little shy you'll get used to it after a few minutes.

ask your friends if their moms go with them. i bet some of them do.

When i get them done they make you keep your socks and boxers on. you ill most likely be wearing a robe. And all the doctors I have gone to have been nice enough to go into the corner where your parents wont see when they do it. it is a bit awkward but doctors know you dont want your parents looking so they usually go to an angle where nobody else can see. but it wouldn't hurt to ask your mom to step outside for a moment while you do it. ask her beforehand so she knows you want her to leave during that part of the exam
