View Full Version : Am I going to pass out?

Nevermore

So, for the past 3 days I've had coffee, fruits, and veggies. Yesterday I had maybe on fork full of meat. These are in very small portions. This would be like a coffee, a side salad, a banana, and a scoop of veggies for dinner all day. Today I am so dizzy. So after I had coffee I forced myself to drink a small Gatorade because it was 80 cals and i'm sure had sugar and carbs. I then forced myself to eat a bigger salad with some cheese on it and curtons with barely any dressing. It's been over 20 minutes since I've eaten, and I still feel really dizzy. I don't know what to do. I've been contemplating going to the nurse, I've also asked a few of my friends this question, and they said I'd be fine. I'm really tired, and passing out in school would not be good. Especially since I have cut recently. I don't want to pass out, and I definately don't want to be placed in an institution. I'm afraid. What should I do? What more can I do to not let myself pass out? Last night I had more sleep then all the other nights this week. So could that possibly be it? I've lost over 6 lbs. in these three days. I guess partially because I'm also working out. I really need help. What should I do to prevent me from passing out? A few years ago I ended up passing out while on a horse due to not eating. Of course it was the worst place to pass out. When I was going right over a jump. ^_^ So I ended up hitting my head on the jump beam on the way down. I was fine afterwards though. The reason why this is relevant is because I feel like I did then, right now. Please help!

Keep hydrated.
Try to eat if you can, but having enough to drink holds a huge impact.

If you start getting tunnel vision, go to the nurse and ask her to let you lay down for a little.

Thank you Kyle. I will try and drink more, I'm starting to feel a little better since I ate the salad and drank the bit of gatorade. :)

Keep hydrated, Try to eat lotss ot really small portions of things. Don't force anything with lots or fat or anything because your body isn't used to it. Take your time, try not to do any hard motions... It should get much better with the next few hours. If it doesn't get better or gets worse contact a doctor right away, don't wait for it to be too late.
Good luck, and contact me if you ever need to talk.
