Violent Imaginations

Recently I've been having violent, murderous thoughts about... Everyone really, aside from my family, girlfriend, and her family. I've almost enacted on one of these thoughts. I started speed walking towards a guy and I had a knife in my pocket but I stopped myself before I did anything cause I thought I'd get caught.

Ok i get exacly the same thing... so your not alone on this one . Im glad you didn't do it but you should really go and see a proffesional and seek some help with this anger . i talk to my psycologist about this because its in my dreams as well . she doesnt really say anything about it but she does ask if you would ever act on your feeling and who you would kill first ect . the thing is when i was at my worst i wanted to kill my family aswell as everyone . think about why you want to kill .. do you have an interest in death or corpses ? and do you ever mix torture with sexual fantasies . i dont know if this was any help but get back to me .

I know what you mean. I have some pretty messed up dreams and my thoughts that are just as bad. It's only when someone really irritates which happens about everyday.

I try to block them out, and fail miserably, and make an attempt to distract myself.

Really don't have any 'interest' in death or corpse, and don't relate either to sexual fantasies. :-/ And honestly it just happens randomly with random people... No noticeable patterns, aside from the obvious if someone pisses me off I feel that way. But sometimes it's a complete stranger so yeah. I have a psychologist and I want to tell him sometimes but I never am able to get it out.

ok please do mention it to him , you would really benefit from him knowing . ive also spoke to mine about these feelings and at the moment shes just assessing whether im a danger to my slef and others ..... i dont know what the next step is ?

He can't help you if you dont tell him. Thats why he's here and you really should tell him.
Some people on here would love to have a pyschologist and don't so you should really use him best you can.
I know it can be hard to talk about things like this, but please do.

Please, use your psychologist to their full potential. Try to tell them all of this, it will make things much easier for you and them.
I used to have a lot of dreams involving rape/murder/drowning etc. I never really gave it all that much thought after I woke up, though, because you can't control your subconscious all that much.
As for your urges to injure/kill, I don't know all that much about that. Again, your psychologist can help you with this, please try to tell them.
