Red line on screen

ok this just happened like 10 mins ago... i turned on my comp and theres a lil red line going down my screen... its about as wide as this | | and it will only show up on dark colors... what is it?

Try degaussing it. If you have a button that says degauss then press it. Is your monitor old?

my moniters like 3 years old.... and no buttons on my moniter work to make it go away

Hmm. Restart your computer, disconnect and reconnnect the moniter, clean the graphics port, and play with the color settings. If none of it works than I can't help you, sorry :(

i would suggest going out and buying an lcd
