Some people have sex at like... idk, 13? Even if it's with their friends, of the same age do you think it's wrong?
Personally, I think that people who have sex should be mentally prepared for this, and at thirteen most of the people isn't. Doing it this early will have you either regreting it, which is not good, or can cause some emotional defect. When i see kids this old, who did have sex, it is usually a recipe for disaster, and if they don't regret it atm they will regret it later, or when they have a fight with their partner, especially since in our days virginity still counts as a symbol for things (purity, innocence blah blah blah).
Do you it should be legalized?
If you find it wrong, then why?

Any age limit that is set is to an extent arbitrary and some people are more mature than others at the same chronological age. If you say the age of consent is 16 (as it is here in the UK) then you're no different at 15 and 11 months than you are on your 16th birthday, its just a number.

The age of consent is there mainly to protect younger people from predators and, on the whole, it works reasonably well for that. What ever the legal limit is some kids are always going to start younger. Its natural to get sexual urges and its natural to want to experiment. Treating two 13 year olds as criminals for having sex wouldnt real help anyone at all.

Here it's 14, but next year it'll be 16... But if it's agreed on both sides, and it's more than exeprimenting... Sexuallity is not set at 13, and can totally change... This is another place that can cause regret... I'm not talking about law, but about moral consequences... Do you think it's wrong?

I think 13 is a bit young, but then I was only 14 and I'm not really here to criticise other people's choices. Wrong is a strong word, "not always advisable" I might accept.

LOLZ i guess you are right... it's just hard for me to think of the people i know, who obviously wish they didn't do it, and it made me wondering if they will end up the same way. I do not criticize any of them in any way...

Speaking for myself, and at the risk of sounding contradictory, I dont regret having lost my virginity but at the same time I wish I had waited. I dont regret it because I learnt things about myself which maybe I needed to know, about my sexuality. You could say it made me face up to things and quit the denial. But when I fall in love now (and I havent had sex for ages by the way) I wish I had waited because it was just sexual experimentation, just randiness, and now that feels wrong.

it isn't called contradictory, it's called objective, you maturly check out all the sides of a situation and not only the one that reinforces your idea.

This is exactly the thing that i think isn't so bright. Obviously it's our body and we can do whateveeeeer we want, but after that there may be a regret.. We can always discover things, and if those things were right, we can discover them anytime, but regret about something we did in the past will never completely go...

-I guess it's jus ta matter of maturity, after all, people are different...
right?

Yes, people are different, and few situations are black and white, far more shades of grey.

Age limits only encourage underage people to do things. That being said:

I have no problem with two consenting teenagers practicing safe sex. I do have a problem with stupid teens who don't use condoms. I also have a problem with people in middle school and even elementary having sex — that's too young to be adequately matured (both mentally and physically).

I dont think theres anything wrong with this, tbh, to me, its natural to have sex, and obviouisly, people have amazing experiences when have sex, so i dont think age matters.
