If you use a Windows PC there is something called the Windows Experience Index which gives numbers that rate various things about the PC such as CPU power, RAM, and etc. I am asking that users either give the numbers of their Windows Experience Index or take a screenshot and show it. Sorry for being unclea.

Yeah, are you kidding? If you've read any of his other posts he thinks he knows everything, even everything about YOUR computer.

i know a damn sight more than you kids. I have 6 proffessional qualifications including A+ MCITP, MSDST, N+, CISCO and MCSA. I run my own PC building company. I have ties with Nvidia and ATi. I got to many conferences. I recieve free components from these manufactueres to write 5000 word reviews on that are published in multiple PC magazines. So next time you think you know what your talking about, listen to the guy that has all the knowledge and experience.

That GTS250 will not give you that score. Look at the HD3200 from ATi and what that scores.....

So then what score should it show and why is it displaying a different one?

to be honest... me neither
however, im pretty sure the GTS 250 is very similar to the GeForce 9800 GT. which, if you look at The DarthEgg's post, scores a 6.8

that again confuses me, i have 2x HD5870s and they only score 7.3 (the scale goes up to 7.9)

Congratulations?
Just because I'm not working in this perticular field doesn't mean I know any less than you do about the subject.
You have no idea what I do, and do not know. And I can tell you, I know a hell of a lot. More than my programming teacher, more than my computer maintainence teacher, and certainly more than my networking teacher.
Do not question my intelligence again.
The reason I called you out this time is because you have a "better than thou" vibe about you in almost every post you make. Learn to speak to the people, not above the people. It helps keep people like me off your back. ;)

The WEI only scores the primary graphics adapter. Any other card will not be scored. You could have 12 HD5870s (If it was possible) and you'd still only get a 7.3.

Do not question my intelligence again then.

If you know that much then you should know that the WEI is possibly one of the worst benchmarking tools you can use.

Ill redo my 3D mark tests and post them up, ill also overclock and post some PI Calcs up as well when i get the chance, Im getting a new tank of LN2 for some extreme overclocking with a 980x, That should be fun.

Ill post a few screenies up with the scores ect

Verywell.

I do. Even Microsoft says the results should be taken with a grain of salt. Two different devices scoring the same on the WEI can perform very differently under the same conditions.
But it's also one of the easiest to use/get to. Especially for ordinary people.

Yeah, most people on VT aren't the tech-types. WEI is just a bit of fun, a rough and certainly not detailed or perfect evaluation of your system's performance.
