Lucky Me, I Walk Alone
Coming home, lucky me.
Bus pulls up, doors open.
Doors close, I walk alone.
Wind blows past my face,
Just caught in the breeze.
"Crunch, crunch" of the lonely leaves,
Breaking beneath my feet.
Pressure pushes down, breaking me,
Just walking on.
Trees bending, branches snapping,
Wind blows past my face,
Just caught in the breeze.
Pushing on, pressure growing.
Like the wind, staying on my course.
Drifting here, drifting there,
Just pushing on.
At home, lucky me.
Step up, door opens.
Door closes, I walk alone.
Falling down, trying to see.
Why? Why me?
More awaits tomorrow.
