HELP: In a fight with my bestfriend, need other peoples opinion

Okay. My friend is very.. tempermental and ALWAYS gets mad at little things like complaining to much about things and joking around about things and her getting mad at them. I've learned to live with it and never had a problem with it til now. She's mad at me for talking about her behind her back to a friend. I was talking to someone on facebook chat and even before our fight she had just gotten mad at me for speaking my mind and saying it was annoying that shes obsessed with 11:11. Anyways, I was talking to my friend and i said " I think my friends mad at me, so saying that its annoying that shes obsessed with 11:11. She's stupid she gets mad at little things all the time ! " and then we carried on with normal conversation until I went off facebook and went to sleep. When i woke up i got a text saying " Kay, fuck. Really. If your going to talk about me and call me stupid you might want to erase your chat " i explained myself and asked her why she was on my facebook and she was like " I was on your facebook to go on happypets and i was being nosy and went through that chat "

-She shouldn't have been on my facebook in the first place
-What i said is the truth and she's always getting mad at me for not speaking my mind. I just wasnt saying it to her though

I'm not going to say sorry to her, my life is so much better now that i dont have to worry about making her mad all the time. I was just wondering what your guys' thoughts are and who you think is right/fault it is or whatever in this situation. Your help would be much appreciated.

Well, I see two things here.
1) Pardon me, but you're friend is... A bitch.
But most likely, I think it is number
2) You're friend is jealous of something. Have you been hanging out with a girl she doesn't like? A new habit or sport or any event involving other women she doesn't like? Maybe even you've become good friends with another guy/girl that she likes. There is something bothering her that she is taking out on you, most people, even hormonal teenagers, don't start hating people overnight.

Well, I would be mad too if my supposed best friend was calling me stupid and tempremental to somone else when I was just trying to go on happy pets idk what that is. I don't see why you feel shes overreacting.. Either way if it makes your life happy.. Keep it up.. I guess?
