Unchained Freedom
Floating above the rusted chains that we clung too,
There were all we ever knew and at the time all we had,
We were convinced we’d never be free.
But above the hands that were chained,
We saw a different person, we saw someone that was free
Burried between the edge of freedom and hospitality
We didn’t have a choice but to break the chains that chained us,
We had to find the courage within ourselves,
Push out of the dark and into something we were proud of.
Something we now call
Unchained freedom
Floating above the rusted chains that we clung too,
There were all we ever knew and at the time all we had,
We were convinced we’d never be free.
But above the hands that were chained,
We saw a different person, we saw someone that was free
Burried between the edge of freedom and hospitality
We didn’t have a choice but to break the chains that chained us,
We had to find the courage within ourselves,
Push out of the dark and into something we were proud of.
Something we now call
Unchained freedom
