I want to model. However I have a lot of scars that are obviously self injury scars. I really, really, really want to model. :( I don't know what to do. However I can't stop cutting. I can't stop hurting myself and now my dreams of modeling are over, because no one will higher me with the scars. Models are supposed to be beutiful, but then again I don't think I'm good enough to model. I'm too fat, I'm ugly. Who am I kidding. :'( sorry for the rant. I just wish I could model, sorry if this is the wrong area to post. I just don't know what to do. Can anyone help?

if that is you in your display picture, you are not ungly and are certainly not fat! Not by anyone's imagination. As for the modelling, there are other types of modelling you could with clothes that cover up the scars. If you want to model as much as you say you do, then you should use that love to keep you strong when you want to cut.

Hun, your not fat or ugly, your beautiful :)
You could try using cocoa butter or bio oil to try and fade the scars
And this site is great for advice and help if you want to stop cutting

I'm sorry this isn't much help, take care :)x

Like everyone else says your not ugly or fat!
There are lots of things out there that fade scars, Or makeup to cover them up?
As the others have said there are lots of different types of modelling that dont involve
you showing your arms.
Dont give up hope :)

This. :)
Your really not ugly or fat at all, and scars might never go away in some cases, but they do fade (even just slightly).
Good luck for your future.

No, unfortunately that is not me, but a google image thing, I just look similar. Once I get used to the site, I might be brace enough to post real pics of myself. Tombstone that is an excellent idea. Everytime I get the urge, I can think of my goal. Thank you. :)
Bella- No, you helped a lot. Thank you. :) I have never heard of bio oil where can one find it? I might have some cocoa butter :) yay! This site looks like it could help with my self injury problem.
Fran- The only problem with make up is I haven't found a make-up that fits my skin tone.
That makes me feelbetter I still have hope thank you all so much for your help, :)

I get mine from boots :D It's quite expensive though, but it really does work. It normally takes up to 3 months to fade a lot, but that's pretty quick if you think about it.

Mine faded faster when I used bio oil. I'd recommend it.

You always can make your dream come true! and it's not too late...
First, you are thin. If you get thinner they won't except you. 2nd, Have you seen those ugly-succeful models? You are totally prettier than them. YOU are beautiful. You can make it. You just need to believe in yourself. About the self harming, i would usually try to help you find methods to stop it, but if you still do it even though you tried to stopin few ways, try to doit in places that aren't noticabe. I can't tell you where, so think...
Good Luck

Like Georgia said you can get it from Boots and also Superdrug, it is a bit exspensive, more exspensive than cocoa butter, but it has great results :):)
