Well, mine is the best around, any may be the best in VT. It is desktop, and...
Windows 7, It has Intel Core i7 Processor, 8 CPUs, 2.8GHz, 6 GB RAM and uses ATI Radeon 5950 Graphics Card.
It's hard drive memory is 2 Terabytes ( 1026 GB is 1 Terabyte )
Thanks to this machine, I wouldn't be buying a PC for the next 10 years I guess :P
I play all games on ultra settings, maximum Anti-Aliasing, maximum shadow and texture details... And I have the maximum setting on the the programme which lags the computer the most on max. settings: Mount and Blade Warband Battle Sizer ( 500 units can easily crash a computer, mine is 1000 )
Peace God

intel core i7... 2.67 Ghz
9 GBs of ram
nvidia gforce gts 250
500 GB hard drive... 7200 rpm
windows 7
Intel Core i7 Processor, 8 CPUs
i thought the i7s technically only have 4 cores
Thanks to this machine, I wouldn't be buying a PC for the next 10 years I guess :P
you'll be suprised at how soon your pc will be outdated... the capacity of pc technology is increasing exponentially

AMD Athlon II X4 620 processor (2.60 GHz)
6GB RAM
Nvidia/PNY 9800GT (low power usage, still runs as good as a regular 9800GT)
Windows 7 64-bit
600GB HDD

AMD Athlon II x64, 2.9 GHZ, 4 GB G.Skill DDR2 RAM, 750 GB 7200 RPM HDD, Asus Mobo, don't remember the model, but it's got hdmi, 7.1 sound support, 16 GB RAM cap. now the only thing I need is a graphics card, a good monitor, more RAM, and a bit of overclock, and I've got myself a really nice gaming machine, for not a huge amount of $

For my laptop, not bad, considering it cost me $480.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 QL-65 @ 2.1GHz
4GB RAM
320GB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
And our desktop (which, including it, a 23" Acer 1080p monitor, and Logitech 2.1 speakers, was under $1000), also isn't that bad:
AMD Phenom II X4 810 @ 2.6GHz.
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics (which really annoys me on this PC).

Your computer only has 1 CPU, with 4 cores. Each core is hyper-threaded though (Which brings the total to 8 logical cores).
And 1TB is actually 1024GB, not 1026.
i thought the i7s technically only have 4 cores
They do.
Anywho, my pc:

Awesome, most of y'all's PCs are better than mine haha, but I built mine two years ago:
C2Q Q6600 at 3GHz
Gigabyte P45 UD3P
4x1GB Crucial Ballistix D9GMH
EVGA 9800GT 512MB
Windows 7 Professional
My Backup, was awesome when I built it in 2005:
Pentium D 820
2x1GB Crucial Ballistix D9GMH
EVGA 7950GX2 1GB
Windows XP x64 Edition (NT5.2 Kernel)

For guys who told things about my cores,
when I open the DxDiag, it says 8 CPUs

For guys who told things about my cores,
when I open the DxDiag, it says 8 CPUs
And it says my computer has 2 CPUs.
Trust me, you have 1 Physical CPU, 4 Physical Cores, and 8 Logical cores.
DXDiag only reports 8 CPUs so various programs know the capabilities of the machine. If it reported only 1 CPU, 7 logical processors would go unused.

Well you have 2 CPUs because thats your computer, do you want me to print screen my DxDiag?

I feel like there's a language barrier here......
No no, that's fine. I know DxDiag is reporting 8 CPUs, it should. If it didn't I would be worried.
It's reporting 8 CPUs because that's what Windows reports when it's asked by programs (Such as DxDiag) so that programs know how to properly use the processor.
What's important to note, is that you DO NOT actually have 8 CPUs. You have 1 processor, with 4 cores. Each processor core is then split in to 2 logical cores, so each physical core is capable of handling 2 threads at a time (1 per logical core).
So I say again. You have 1 CPU with 4 cores & 8 Logical Cores.
Or if it suites you: 1 /Processor/ with 4 physical CPUs & 8 Logical CPUs.
If you're further confused, or not understanding me, feel free to PM me. This thread is off topic (Even if it is /your/ thread).

My PC is the complete antithesis of yours. So, I guess I have the suckiest computer in VT.
Running Windows XP pro sp2
Pentium IV - 2.8 Ghz
512 DDRI RAM(I told the guy to make up to 1 GB )
Nvidia GeForce 5200 FX 256 MB
With 80 GB Memory.
I know, a pitiful PC.
And, I am a complete hardware illiterate. Shame shame

Parts and stuff are so fucking expensive in Kuwait.
My friend got a nice PC with
4 GB Ram
i3 Processor
Nvidia 9800 GT
Xp
for 150 Kd only, he bought in Egypt. It might cost up to 700 KD for the desktop only.

Whoa, why they are THAT expensive ( and how much kd = x $ ? )

Open the "Run..." option ( ı think thats the name in the english versin )
and type "dxdiag" ( without the " )
If you are on vista, simply write dxiag on the search bar and it will show up either as an .exe or a file
