Hello. Recently my right nipple has been very tender and hurts to the touch. There is also a pea-sized lump directly below and its very hard. My other nipple is Hello. I'm hoping it is puberty related and not cancer or something.

It is normal for teens during puberty for their breast to become tender. This is called pre-pubertal gynecomastia. When the hormones that start puberty begin working, often boys will develop breast tissue. They get a slight swelling under the nipples and it can sometimes feel tender or sore.

Yes, I remember it lasted about 4-5 months. I really didn't hurt, just when like with pressure. It shouldn't last anymore then 3-6 months.

Ive had mine for month or to and it does only hurt with pressure, it sucks to walk into something!

Yes, But eventually it should go away. Just part of growing up!
