R.I.P. Cody Allen Rossback

Cody was a good friend of mine. He could always make you laugh, no matter what you were going through. He was in my math class and I hung out with him on our Busch Gardens (Florida amusement park) for our class graduation night. He passed away on May 18, 2010. I still have trouble dealing with it and sometimes I wish it was me and not him. He died from a gun misfiring. I'm just kind of venting here.

R.I.P. Cody Allen Rossback. You are and will continue to be missed! :(


~My Shadow~

I have this shadow.
That is always around.
Everywhere i look.
It's on the ground.
It never leaves me alone.
I tell him just go home.
He says nothing back.
I get the look, like man he's whack.
But as the sun starts to fade.
And the dark starts to take stage.
I turn another page.

In the morning I see him again.
So I just say "What's up my friend?"

I'm sorry for your loss... It is hard to lose someone. Especially a close friend. And it's even harder when it's not natural death. When a person is sick with the cancer, everyone is prepared. Obviously it's really hard as well, but it's not that surprising. I'm sure it was really hard for you to go through, but you need to remember that it doesn't mean you are alone in the world, or that you lost your meaning. It's hard to move on but you have too, and as long as you remember him he is not completely dead.

I'm really sorry for your loss. My Grandad died not so long ago and i know it is really hard to come to terms with, especially since your friend was so young.
