If it wasn't confusing before...
I've never been a label person. But upon the discovery of really how much variety there is in asexuality, I've come to the conclusion that I myself am asexual.
I'd just like to hear opinions though. Upon researching, I believe I'm actually panromantic asexual, when before I considered myself pansexual since I am attracted to people. I never thought asexual could mean just a lack of interest in sex, but always thought it was lack of interest in relationships. This wikipedia article here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asexual) is the main determining factor of the thoughts I now have.
I couldn't care less about sex. However, I experience physical and emotional attraction to all sexes, I just have no interest in sex.
Please verify that I'm not crazy or something...

Yeah, not crazy. I can entierly understand why someone would want to avoid sex, there's times where I can't stand being turned on or anything in that topic.
It's not like everyone needs to reproduce, when most people are capable of having 2+ children who do have kids.

Seeing in how I'm only in ninth grade and I'm 14 I don't really know if I can safely say I'm Asexual yet...
But for the mean time, I identify as Heteroromantic.
Yeah. What a mouthful.
I could be just a late bloomer or something. But I haven't felt sexually attracted to anyone. But I have been romantically interested in quite a few people since puberty hit so I dunno.
Bottom line is, if you're crazy, then I'm crazy.

Ugh, I hate that logic.
If you know what you are, you know what you are, even if you are young.

Hmm. I'm in my first year of university and engaged, so I guess it's alright to say that I'm asexual in that sense.
Though I have had sex before, it's never been something that interested me like it did other teens. It takes an incredible effort from someone to get me to do it... o.O I don't know, it's never been something I think about. I think about handsome guys and pretty girls, about relationships, ecetera, but sex never crosses my mind. I'm sure that has a lot to do with my past though.
Ugh, I hate that logic.

Well, I thought I was a lesbian when I was in first school. I was pretty sure of it, until I had my first crush on a guy when I was eight, then I thought I was heterosexual. And I deemed myself bisexual when I was 13. And then I discovered pansexuality a year ago. Each time though, I was pretty certain of it.
I don't know how that proves anything, but I'm sure age can have a lot to do with it.

Oh, sorry. Personal bother. "You can't know you're too young" -.- Yeah, you can. Not everyone does, but you can and plenty of people do.
[Did know, then started questioning again. Landed all over the place before returning to first assumption - coherent sentence w/o personal pronouns FTW]

If you're crazy, as am I.
In more or less the same boat as you,
give or take a few details (eg i haven't had sex etc)
as far as I've looked up, asexuality isn't just the lack of physical and emotional attraction, it's also a lack of interest in sex or sexual desire.
so yeah, anyway, no, you're not crazy.

Not at all crazy.
I've had times where I thought I was asexual, but I didn't know that there was an actual term for it or all the details.
It makes a lot of sense to me, even though now I'm quite certain that I'm not.
Bottom line; be yourself. If you're sure that's what you are, then stick with it.
So basically Rith, no, you're not crazy. :D
Also @ShatteredWings, I agree with your statement about not everyone knowing but some people do. I think that the people who do know are in the minority which is why it's not widely accepted.

I don't think you're crazy at all :)
I used to think I was asexual, but right now I'm really into a guy and I'm starting to feel abit more hetero, so who know's? Why can't I just be "that girl who is sometimes into people but sometimes is fine with hot chocolate and grey's anatomy?"
