Why is it so hard to pick a career path? Every week I have a different path I want to follow. One week it's film, the next journalism, the next secret service and then the military. How exactly do I find what I really want to follow? Please help

Depends on what subjects you like, and what you are willing to spend time in collage or university developing. Do what make you happy, you aim to please yourself, no one else. Remember that if you study hard, you can be whatever you damn well want, you just have to work for it.

How old are you? That may indicate a lot about this.
Most people don't know what they want to do fully during high school, or even college (which is why ya can change your major)
But you have some idea, right?
Stuff you're good at is usually indicative of a decent carrere path

Exactly the same with me. I have no idea, at all. People tell me to just do what makes me happy, something I love. but I dont know what that is. :/

You should do something that makes you happy and love. Something you could see yourself still doing in 30+ years. You're just in the beginning of your life, you can always take different majors, try out different things, see which one is the best. You don't have to definitely decide yet.

I feel the same exact way. Thing is, I'm passionate about journalism but lately I've been to depressed to really get into it at my school recently, I'm actually failing the class. But that's another story. But I know what you mean - one day I'll want to be a journalist, then a doctor, then a fashion designer. No exaggeration.
I'll give you the advice I once received that actually helped me bunches -- High school is for discovering your passions. Focus on school clubs, classes, and not your future career. Of course think about college, but don't make any definite decisions or obsess over it. Just enjoy life, and the rest should follow suit. ♥

Obviously it's a big, important, scary choice, but you need to know that whatever you choose is not what you will do your whole life. Do something that is interesting. Whatever is the most interesting to you. Don't w8 to long because you'll start regreting. But you will wonder about your choice anyway.
I wish you good luck !

I recommend you do a bit of looking inside yourself. No, don't get a surgical tool and cut yourself open. I mean you can do that metaphroicall-... Off topic, basically try to learn about your personality and skills and see where those point

It is really difficult. I think there's too much pressure on young people to choose a career while they're in high school. I'm double-majoring in Philosophy and Mathematics when I go to college. I want to challenge completely different parts of my brain.
