What does VT think of them? I like Songs for the Deaf, it's by far my favorite album by them, and it ranks highly on my all-time albums list. Rated R and Era Vulgaris are good too.

No one knows is a brilliant song. I chart Queens of the stone age among the many new wave 21st century alternative artists like electric 6, Whezzer etc. by far my favourite genre!

QOTSA are great, and Josh Homme is one of my most respected musicians in the entire industry. Instrumentally I think they're great, but you shouldn't expect anything too profound lyrically since after a while you realize all their songs are about getting high (more or less).
