Some hip-hop's good, you just gotta know where to look (specifically the UK underground scene)
As for Pink Floyd. <3
Roger Waters is my favourite bassist, and my favourite lyricist of all time. Ever.

It's not possible to not love Pink Floyd.
Meddle, DSOTM, Animals, Wish You Were Here and The Wall are all works of art.

Dark side of the Moon!!!!! :D Pink Floyd is great; as for hip hop, try Dizzy Rascal before he got famous.

If I had my way, I'd have all of you shot.

Momentary Lapse Of Reason? Are you serious?
That's a Gilmour solo effort more than a Pink Floyd album, and you know it :P
I get the shooting reference ;) Shoot us in the flesh!

Momentary Lapse of Reason was actually pretty good on my first listen to it. I have to agree with Richard's comments at the time that it wasn't really a 'band' album. It's got some good songs on it though. Dogs Of War is highly underrated.
EDIT: If it was a Gilmour solo effort, there would be more songs about the color blue on it. I rest my case.

Pink Floyd is a pretty good band. However, i was disappointed the first time i listened to Dark Side of the Moon...i guess my expectations were too high.

People do this too much. Though I do enjoy Dark Side of the Moon, it just isn't the album where you can set your expectations high for it. To an extent, it does lack a bit, but it's still an excellent album.

Those are albums I have yet to listen to, except for Saucerful.

DSOTM isn't their best album. I'd have to say Wish You Were Here is, but Animals is pretty damn close.

I hate seeing someone in a Pink Floyd t-shirt, striking a conversation with them and then asking "So you listen to 'Meddle' and all that?" and just get a blank look. 'Fans' my ass.

Honestly, favorite album is The Wall (I know I sound so stereotypical). Favorite song? Sorrow.
If I had my way, I'd have all of you shot.
Nice "In The Flesh" reference

Same same same. And I'm so sick of hearing about Justin Beiber and Lil' Wayne. Bahhh.
I like Pink Floyd, although I don't know too many of their songs. My favorite is Another Brick In The Wall. Part two. ;)

I can tell you like Meddle a lot.
I also love all of the songs you just posted, I just feel that Echoes is the pinnacle of Pink Floyd's creativity, it's like a summary of the band in one song. Sheep was once my favorite Floyd song, alas, the keyboard intro is mystifying.
