Do you have an idea of what you want to do when you get older? Or if you already are "older" what is your current occupation? Here's mine:

When I turn 18 I hope to go into the Army. Once out of the Army (around age 21) I hope to join my local Sheriffs Department. I don't think I'm going to do college. I'm not sure. Please if you have suggestions on college for law enforcement. I would like to be a zone deputy. But anyways post away guys! :)

My ultimate goal is to compose music for film/tv, or become a music teacher. Possibly both! That would be perfect...

Baha, everyone says that. I know that when I finish my first proper album (I've done several EPs with various bands) I've got loads of people to thank :P

Thanks for the good luck, btw. And kudos for wanting to go into law enforcement, not enough kids do these days.

There is an edit button for a reason, please use it and do not double post.

12hrs on 36 off if your a normal zone deputy and dont work a sh*t load of details, i think its manageable. I plan on being a cop and running my own small business(web & graphic design), so yeah. :P

But isn't that half-time? I could do that and then go full time after college. I don't know if I would go all 4 years. That would be a pain in the ass.

No, thats full time. You work a 12 hour shift, have the other 12 hours and the next day off. LCSO has the A/B shift system. Kinda like block schedule, except instead of different classes you get the opposite day off.

Like lets say im A nights. I work my shift, then i have B day/night off, then A day off, then i got in and work my A night shift then. And so on.

I will be graduating from college at the end of this year, majoring in operations research and financial engineering. I'll be working for a boutique consulting company in Manhattan that focuses on strategy consulting for financial services entities (big investment banks, major exchanges, and so forth). I don't know if it's my dream job but it's definitely up there... and I didn't even really know what I would be doing after graduation until a couple of weeks ago. So don't stress it too much if you don't either.

Well of course I'm going to college, I really don't know why someone wouldn't want to. Afterwards, I would love to work in an investment firm, eventually opening my own.

I've done a lot of self searching and well I started out wanting to be a lawyer and I searched myself and looked at other career options having to do with people and I realized being a lawyer is really what is best for me. I'm good at arguing and generally have good points to make. And one day I hope to handle some important cases. After I pass the bar test I'm going to do a one year program just to see what I'm getting into but for now I'm confident I've chosen the right path. I think it would be really entertaining to be involved in arguing a case. I don't think I could ever get bored with cases that are always different. And I think it would be a really fulfilling feeling to know that I did something good whether it be advising a good person/ company (for example some eco friendly company, or a politician who shares my political views) or arguing a case in court in order to protect the greater good.
Also I realize I don't have the drive or patience to go into medicine, and I hate math so I don't really want to do anything to do with sales. I have a deep rooting fear of dogs so I couldn't be a veterinarian. And I'm too lazy to be a politician. I'm not sure the whole essay thing was need I'm just really enthusiastic. Oh and the zero's on my pay are just an extra.. xD :D

After I finish the A levels i have at the college I'm at at the moment im going to go on to a specialist Animal college just outside the city i live in. Hopefully from there to university and from there to be a Vet. I've wanted to work with animals since i was about 4-5 years old. I've had animals at home all my life and i'd like to give something back.
