Rash on my penis

So I'm 19 and have been having steady sex with my girlfriend for about 2-3 weeks now. The other day I woke up and took a shower and saw that I had some sort of red rash thing from the base of my penis to about halfway up.

I have never been allergic to anything.
I was my girlfriend's first partner.
And she claims that she has never had a yeast infection.


Currently I am putting Lotramin Ultra for jock itch on the rash.

Your thoughts as to what this is or what I can do for it?

It's possible it could be a mild skin irritation, due to the onset of friction between the two of you during intercourse. I'd monitor it while keeping some cortizone cream or something of the sort on it, and if it doesn't improve, seek medical attention for it.

could be an irritation issue. be sure to use a double lubed condom. if the rash persists, stop sex immediately and see a doctor, it could be nothing, but it could e serious..
