Yes, I think it gets better with age, has for me. All you can do is make sure you clean at least daily.

pull your foreskin back after showering, and rub some mouthwash on your shaft, and lightly scrub with your hands. it will kill all of the bacteria on your shaft

be sure to really scrub under your head, thats where bacteria piles up for me lol

Most of you are right. If you want to stay uncut, then you need to wash under the foreskin at least twice a day. Warm water and mild soap are good. I am glad to be circumcised. There is no problem. I wash my penis every morning in the shower along with every other part of the body. I never have any smell unless I hold my pee too long and dribble into my underware. I only pee three times a day. I can hold a lot in my bladder. Sometimes I wait too long to take my midday piss. I never go at school. Usually I don't need to.

Best to prevent this is just to shower every night, pull back your foreskin far back and wash under your head front and back with water and some bodywash or soap. I do this everyday and I rarely get it. My smeg normally builds up after the first day of no washing :)
