before the last time i self harmed i went almost 5 weeks, it was a really hard 5 weeks, and i kept track of how long it had been.
This time i didn't keep track, it hasn't been as hard, but i checked yesterday how long i had went for, and it hasn't even be 3 weeks, i couldn't believe it. It seems like its been so much longer. I just can't figure out if thinking i've went longer is a good thing or a bad.

If it feels longer then its a good thing, I think. :)

I'd say it was probably a bad thing... when time goes slower it's usually because you miss something or are not enjoying something. Although this is pretty normal so i wouldn't worry about it too much. Keep going and good luck :) Feel free to contact me anytime you need to talk.

Definitely this. :)
If you can go a longer amount of time not keeping track and feeling a lot better about everything, then it's definitely a better thing. Just keep on pushing forward, and don't ever look back mate.

thinking you went longer is a bad thing in my opinion, because you gave yourself a sense of acheivement when really you hadnt achieved beating 5 weeks.
But its a great thing that it has been easier this time, and three is still great.
Keep it up! x

I'd also say it's a bad thing. But, keep on trying man. the less often you feel the need, the better. 5 weeks is amazing and 3 weeks is great too. set goals for yourself, it really helps. It can be extremely tempting sometimes, but when you acheive a goal the feeling of accomplishment is great and if ya feel really good for making your goal you probably wont have the need to cut for a while longer and you'll see how long you can go without cuttin
that's what i did, and it worked. I went six months before i relapsed. now i am startin fresh and i'm going for 7!
