Spilled milk/cereal on keyboard

I dried it up, but certain letters were coming out in pairs, like instead of "b" it would be "bg".

I left my moms house, and I'm at my dads. She just phoned me to tell me the keyboard isn't working at all? Would this be because of the milk? It was mostly working for me when I left.

How could we fix the issue? It's the only computer she can use.

Dude, a nice new (wired) keyboard will only run you $15. Hell, my wired keyboard I'm typing on right now is dirt cheap, but it gets dirty deeds done.

^^I think he probably knew that.

I've actually screwed up an old laptop keyboard before by spilling orange juice on it. Half the keys became very clunky to press and the rest came off. Still, that was an old, heavy, and unreliable one which I thankfully don't have to use anymore. So, if you can't fix the keyboard (which wouldn't surprise me concerning modern hardware), you will probably have to simply buy a new one.

This happened to my laptop, it couldn't be fixed either. the letters came out cv, fv, tv and shit, you're gonna need a new keyboard or at least have all the keys off and let it dry out somewhat, but i think its more likely to be number 1.
