Has anyone else noticed the increase in spam members, advertising various companies? Has it gotten worse recently or is it just my imagination?

No matter what we do, there will always be ad bots, though if you see one report the post and we can deal with them.

Exactly, the report button is there for a purpose. You can report people's signatures as well as there posts. I often do :)

No, you're right it has been worse lately, but they tend to go through stages. Sometimes there are none, other times there are bloody loads. They're a pain in the ass but eh, we can't stop them 100%

Its the same button, just make sure we know you're reporting the sig not the post

I freeze a lot of them :P
they are around, some just get unnoticed.. a lot.

That's cause they think VMs are unmonitored.

Report when ya see 'em.

Also, it's november almost. Places are getting ready for holiday advertizments, so i'd think that would create a surge in adbots
