View Full Version : Policy on shirtless photos

I was surprised when the policy on shirtless photos and avatars was relaxed recently. I saw an avatar just now which it seemed to me was a pedo's delight. It wouldnt be appropriate for me to link to it here, if staff want to ask obviously they can. But really think allowing these sorts of photos is just encouraging the pervs. For me the old rule was better.

Agree with nick, for example, there is a "no-shirtless" rule with girls.
There is someone on this forum (no name given) who has pictures with only mere bras on her ( and they are like half-worn ). Dont mods pay attention to this?

And she also has like super-cleavage photos. She still has shirt on her but it wouldnt make a diffrence if she took her shirt off :D

Anyway, I dont know the old rules but moderators should keep an eye on new members

Under the old policy, showing clevage for the hell of it would be consitered the same as shirtless, not allowed.

Well, strangely enough, the avatar that provoked this thread has been changed, but thats kind of irrelevant. The old policy was safer, less likely to attract pedos to the site, just dont understand why it was changed.

I've said this before, and I'm posting it here for publicity sake

can we put "no shirtless avatars or pictures" in the site rules?

There is already a section for Avatar Rules somewhere I dont remember, there it already says no shirtless pictures for females

We're talking about males & females though. The rule should go both ways, before this turns into perv/pedo central.

Some of them are attractive ... but I definitely think that we should be prioritising child safety here. This sort of forum is a paedophile's dream.

Is it really that hard to put clothes on? I'm a nature-ish type person, so I could care less, but it's not that hard to do if people are asking you to put some clothes on. I agree, however. Let's not make this place look creepy, parents would already be paranoid without shirtless pictures.

This is a help site... meaning pedo's will think it's full of vulnerable teens and therefore easy targets. Then the relaxed rules on Avatar pics etc... yeah they're gonna think this is a pretty good place for them to hunt.

Because at the time I hadn't actually been asked to remove it.

If a picture that could've been deemed unsuitable, was pointed out to be, it shouldn't really have been on in the first place.
If you'd rather wait to get yourself into trouble about a picture, then that's down to your own fault.
