What Ever Happened? (Could use some help on improving this, please.)

What Ever Happened;
To the little girl that was carefree.
The little girl who played with her barbies everyday.
The little girl who always smiled.

What Ever Happened;
To the little girl that wasn't potrayed as a 'freak' at school.
The little girl that didn't have to drag a blade down her arm to feel alive.
The little girl that didn't make herself sick to feel in control of her life.

What Ever Happened;
To the little girl who was once scar free.
The little girl who had friends.
The little girl who could keep those friends, too.

What Ever Happened?

Reality.

But yeah, as i said in the title, this could do with some improvements.
Help would be very much appreciated please! ^_^

thats pretty good, i like it. i would just take out the last "always" in the first stanza, i think that would help it flow better, but that's just my opinion. good job tho :)
