OK, now that I have grabbed your attention, let me introduce you all to a band called Glamour of the Kill. They are an upcoming band from York, England who combine '80s metal (mostly Maiden) with modern things like breakdowns and IMO they are fucking awesome, they are my favourite band. They've toured with Trivium, Sylosis, Escape The Fate (I know they're shit but whatever) and fuck knows who else. They are so good that Metal Hammer UK gave their first EP 10/10. Trust me, that doesn't happen often and Hammer know what they are talking about. Anyway, they are about to release a new album called 'The Summoning' on January 24th so I thought that I'd show one of their new songs to people. It's called 'Supremacy'. If you like it I'd recommend downloading their self titled EP, it's amazing. If you can find it, their first one as well (I forgot the name of it...). Anyway, what do you think?

Good, I didn't stop my As I Lay Dying for a shitty band. :P I liked it; but the guitar riffs have no complexity.

I may be seeing them when they play Underworld in Camden in March. What one are you going to?
EDIT: This all depends on whether my parents will let me. I doubt it, seeing as I'll probably be doing exams around that time. Then again, they might actually be nice and let me go, seeing as it is on a Friday...

I'm seeing them at Roadmender, which is some place loads of bands go to play near where I live.

I like them, but cringed at the screaming parts. Don't let screaming in songs. It's just not cool. But other than that, they seem pretty good.

New wave metal with a bit of screamo added in there? I'll stick to Megadeth.

Screaming is good when done right, such as a band called Silverstein.
