360 Mods..

so what do you guys think about em? i like em but they can get annoying. i hardly ever use my modded controller though.

the word your looking for is a hack, not a mod.

A hack offers a single user an advantage over other players, in this case probably a hacked controller that offers fully automatic shooting on semi automatic guns.

A mod is a modification to a game that offers NO one an advantage but can add to the fun of the game, be it in the form of new user made maps, new weapons or new gametypes.

why do you have a modded pad if you dont use it much?

i always found no point in modded pads
i could hit the trigger just as fast anyway

i dont see much point in them
sure they can be fun at first
but then they just get annoying

like hacked lobbies on mw2
they were fun for a while then they just got old

actually they mean the same thing a hacked controller is a controller thats been modified. hacked = modified = modded


and i have one because i had an old controller that broke so i modded it over the summer when i had nothing to do

Hack is something that would make you overpowered and sometimes invincible. Mods are diffrent, they modifiy the game by adding items or changing the scripts.
They DO carry the same meaning, but their purposes are totally diffrent.

And thats why PC modders get called Hackers of console noobs that dont actually understand what a mod is.

A modded controller is a hack. not a mod. it will NEVER be a mod. it will ALWAYS be a hack.
