I'm going to be 16 in March, and my foreskin doesn't retract behind the head of my penis. Is there a problem?

it could be potentially if you dont retract soon. dont get circumcised, just spend a few minutes extra in a warm shower/bath, and slowly pull back your skin. IF you pull slowly for a few minutes, it will happen. It could be sudden, it could be a week, but it will probably come. Dont get scared if it comes in parts, cus when i was like 7, i got the back, the next week a side, and the week after the other side haha.

Dont see a doctor unless you have tried for a month to slowly pull your skin back! He/she can proscribe creams to help alot.

tip: do it as much as you can, in the showe, about to fall asleep in bed ect... just rub around, get a boner, and pull slowly!! Warm water will help alot!

oh also, the bottom of your corona (rim of your head) will most likely be sore and red. Just was with soap and it will be gone soon

Good luck and
Happy Pulling!!!

Skin will stretch so as long as the reason for no going all the way back is just it being a bit tight (rather than adhesions) then just pulling it back as far as you comfortably can to stretch and doing so frequently should sort it out.

In the unlikely event that doesn't work a trip to the doctor ma be necessary but beware one who too easily suggests circumcision - a topical steroid cream should be tried before that.

Well, it's not a problem unless it';s causing ya a problem. It's not at all unusual for lads into their late teens and early 20's to have a tight foreskin, so there's no reason to begin worrying about it. It'as certainly not a dangerous health situation.

IF ya want to loosen it up, the easiest way is when yer in the shower or bath and the hot water is making yer foreskin stretchier, gently pull back until you feel some tension but not pain. Hold it in the position with tension for at least 3 and if possible more minutes. The tension will encourage the skin to stretch.

It won't loosen overnight, but yer continued diligent efforts will pay off eventually.

You can also use some topical steroid cream like Dermatovate by Glaxo which aids in making it stretchier. I suspect it can be found on the net or in some countries it is available without a prescription. A call to yer local chemist will tell ya if ya need to see a doctor for a prescription or not.
