White Padded Room contains a lot of things that should go into VT Arcade.
Posting here will boost the postcount a lot ( Like for example the posts in Send A Message Thread )
Shuldnt we move them into VTArcade?

Certain threads even if they do amass a large post count are for personal ranting
and with twpr being members only, it stops guests viewing it making it more personal to the members
if it were arcade it wouldnt be taken as seriously and would also upset members whos personal posts were spewed out for all to see

Send A Message is very personal and it has a lot of things and messages with meaning. It's not like Your Facts where there was a lot of +1 for basically no post, but if you look at Send A Message they have a lot longer posts and with a lot of deep meaning to them.

I would not consider personal feelings a game. As Calum said, The White Padded Room is for members only, if we were to move it, everyone's feelings and expressions would be for everyone to view.

They ARE feelings, and feelings are important for VT I know that but it only triggers more empty posts in my opinion

How does it trigger empty posts? I see meaningful and posts that represent something.

Why would we make the Arcade members only? I don't think that because of one thread -if- moved would be appropriate. Seeing as how there are silly and fun games to play and it's something that separates the Psych ward from the rest of the forum. Yes, we're help and advice, but there are other things to offer here. I don't think it needs to be moved.

The send a message post is not a game, it's a place to vent out feelings. As has been said alot of that is very personal and definatley not a game as the arcade is for. The arcade is for entertainment and i don't exactly find people's pain that entertaining...

Did someone mention TWPR's quality of being member's only? I think that's irrelevant. It's more about how that thread and threads like it are just about venting your feelings. That's the beauty of TWPR. It's a safe place - and, it was a safe place before it was members only; you wouldn't know about that, PrinceOfMadness.

The Arcade, even if made member's only, would never match that feeling of containment and safety. I think the mentioned threads should stay in TWPR.

TWPR was made members only to boost membership, we had a ton of visitors and they wern't joining, so we made TWPR members only and curiosity did the rest.
It had nothing to do with creating a safe place, VT already has that.

If anybody moves Patch's thread to that fucking Arcade I would be sooo pissed and extremely disappointed.
