That is pretty unusual. Your mom has deep rooted issues if she does things like this. Honestly I couldn't tell you what would possess someone to bite another, but I would consider this abuse if she meant to harm you.

Well this is abuse but if it was just a one off and doesn't happen again then i wouldn't worry about it too much... As for the hitting when you where younger i think that's fairly normal or it was with me and my mum. I think you just need to keep an eye on it and make sure it is just a one off.

i was just really angry with her last night and wondered if i could be classed as physical abuse.
im not really that worried about it now cause it probably wont happen again for a long time.at least i hope it wont.

Very silly..don't think its abuse if you don't get hurt in any way.Maybe she was joking.My mom slaps me when i deserve it but i don't care as or the biting she sometimes does it in a playfull way.
