Who here ends up being the designated driver?

My parents are picking me up from college and dragging me to learn how to make wine just so they have designated driver. I don't mind that much, but it can be annoying.

Easier said than done. They're not alcoholics, so hopefully it won't be a problem.

I have been for a couple of older friends. They usually call me and ask if I'd pick them up and take them home. Or sometimes they stay the night at my house. :P I've had to for my mom, like... Twice? But she wasn't plastered. She only drinks at home. Which sucks. My mom IS an alcoholic. But she's improving.
