Falling like a star,

over and over.

Catching the moon at a glance,

Passing by everytime.

They beg,

They plead.

Would you stop the cycle?

And the stars pleaded, “All I want is to stay by my moon”

And the moon pleaded to the sun to let the star stay by its side.

We watched in horror as the sun made it’s decision,

Would this be the end?

Destined to go around it’s only home,

The only safe place.

Held at a safe distance,

Broken, the moon refused to shine, but the star kept shining right on past it.

Grabbed by the hands,

Stuck in space,

So far away from it’s star.

The sun refused to shine,

The world is ending.

All the hearts are frozen over.

Please stop laying your words over their hearts.

The stars died one by one.

Leaving a empty moon,

And the man on the moon cried the tears the moon couldn’t.

Why did the stars die?

Why did they leave and let the hearts freeze over?
