Soo many people will be getting their first report cards soon. I'll get mine next week but all the grades have to be in by midnight for teachers so I should know by then (:
But is anyone nervous about what your grades will look like? Are there any rewards if you keep your grades up?
Like for me if I keep all 80's and above I get to keep my phone and laptop and suk but if it's below then my mom takes it all for a few days or maybe even weeks.

Basically if I do less than stellar by the end of the semester, my parents are going to attempt to take away my dorming, which means either way I'm screwed.

No rewards for me either. When you get to the stage of applying to university (In the uk) the only reward is keeping steady good grades. I don't like the idea of being rewarded for grades and stuff, you should be doing it for yourself, nothing more.

We don't get our report cards until November, we JUST got our progress reports a week ago, but I'll answer the other questions.
I'm not nervous about my grades at all, I know what they are. I know all my grades and I can average it myself if I really want to. The only thing I won't be able to do is get my overall average because I'm not sure how much my classes are weighted yet.
I'm number 1 in my class....so basically my parents know how hard I work at school, and they realize that if my grade drops in a subject, then obviously it's hard because it's not from lack of effort. I don't really get rewards, but I consider the fact that they will be paying for my college a reward in itself.

I don't get report cards till... late November? I wouldn't be nervous, since I can keep track of my grades online, and only semester averages go on to universities. I have straight A's at the moment (even though I got a 63 on my last Geometry quiz >.>). I usually am able to maintain those A's, so it doesn't worry me much.

I know what all my grades are (Edline online grading service), so I know what to expect. English raped me this year, as it does every year.

It's my second actually :P
I won't be expecting much this Quarter. I didn't do a lot, which really made me fall a bit short on grades and such. Even so, most of my grades can be converted up to a B or so. I don't really get rewards, just some treat at the local fast food joint near us. :P

We have this program at our school so you can check your grades at all times. So I basically know what's coming. I only keep up with my grades because on that website you can see what I didn't do and when my dad checks it he gets pissed. I keep my grades above 80 and anything lower my dad takes away all my stuff for a whole marking period.

well, mine was average.
1 A*
4 A's
1 C
The rest were B's
That's actually pretty poor for me.
Oh well, I can make up for that by actually revising for my tests next half term (which are my mock GCSE's >.<).
