Hardcore is pretty meh for me. I mean, there's a couple Post-Hardcore bands I really like, but most of the "hardcore" music I've tried to listen to doesn't float my boat. It's the metalcore bands that really turn me off most of the time. But here is some of the bands I do like and a song by each -

> Converge is Post-Hardcore with math rock influences. Their album, "Jane Doe" was #1 on the Sputnik list of top 100 albums of the decade. Their new album "Axe To Fall" takes on progressive metal influences with hardcore punk. They're really fucking good.
