No, actually that's how I am. I get in those moods where I want some sushi, and if my finances coincide with that desire, then I go to Publix (primarily a Florida grocery store) and get 24 pieces for $15. It's slim pick'ns usually, but it's helped me venture out of my shell and try new kinds.

I absolutely adore sushi. But more than most types of food, quality is really important with sushi, especially nigiri sushi and sashimi. So when I'm not at an excellent place, I normally head for more westernized maki. But somewhere quality... NOMNOMNOM. Tojo's (http://www.tojos.com/) is my favorite sushi place. Absolutely heavenly tuna sashimi.

Yo! Sushi in UK is heavenly. I've tried sushi at other places.. it resembles dog meat compared to there :/

I love Publix's deli.

But I'm not a big sushi person, but I have eaten it when I was at a Japanese steakhoues and it was okay. I don't crave it or anything. :P

Yo! Sushi Blue Mondays are the best, everything £2.20. Of course it's still expensive but for an occasional treat it's worth it ^^

Not really. Expensive, yes, but sashimi is only fish, and nigiri and even maki tend to have a good bit of fish.
