Its kinda confused, there have been countless tests to see if it does effect you, alot of them have been one sided. Doctors have told people who have smokes for 15+ that they have not been effected in any way. I probobly does stunt your growth but so does coffee and cigarettes, i dont really believe that tho because i smokes weed for quite awhile and now im 6'1 and 14 years old. It doesnt (dont flame) cause lung cancer. In my personnal opinion which has no scientific knowledge or anything what soever that its fine and doesnt do anything long term to you.

yeah no its not
theres no carcinogens in marijuana smoke like their is in ciggrate smoke
and it does not kill brain cells
that is a blatent lie
in fact, THC actually has neruoprotective properties, you could hit your head and not get hurt as bad if your a marijuana user because the THC actually offers a bit of protection to the cells, that and yes, the hurt your lungs is right, but not because its like ciggs, but because any smoke of any kind is bad for your lungs peroid
marijuana smoke does not cause cancer like ciggerete smoke does
in fact THC helps certin cancers by stunting or completly halting the growth of center types of tumors in certin cancers, ironicly, some forms of lung cancer benifit greatly from marijuana smoke, well THC anyways, u could eat it and still help you

I had weed recently and ever since I've wanted that buzz again - it messes you up just like cigarettes do because you begin to crave for more and end up becoming an addict.

smokeing weed and getting a buzz can be fun, you get addicted to something because Something in the product, like nicotine in cigarettes, gets into you and you get addicted, And when you get rid of the stuff you will go trhough seriously withdrawl wchich can put you into a hispital and in certain cases death(im talking about very serious drugs. You can feel a buzz from anything, skydiving, eating, cutting youself. Would you say you could get addicted to those things? Im not saying your wrong im just saying there are different ways to look at it

That's impossible to answer tbh.

Different people react differently to it. For some, one session with it could completely fuck things up. For others, such as myself, it can be smoked a fair bit and do no harm.

ive never smoked weed before but i know people who do and i cant say they are stupid.....er(its not because they are doing drugs, they are just dumb) but it does make you do stupid things and its illegal which is not a good thing because when your doing stupid things in public then you get arested haha. and if your really stupid you could get DUIS and even commit manslaughter if your in a car which could ruin your life. im just saying think about the other reason its dangerous other than the physical side effects

It depends on how hi you get. If you get like uber stoned, you start tripping all the balls, which is fun but can be kind of freaky. I feel kinda tired and hazy the day after, but I'm back to normal the next one. Of course it would hurt your lungs, but at least there's not tar like in tobacco.

Pretty sure this is bull, burning almost anything creates carcinogens. The drug itself is relatively safe, but smoke of any kind isn't good. THC has many benefits medically, but you really shouldn't burn weed to get those benefits, vaporize it if you want.

in fact, THC actually has neruoprotective properties, you could hit your head and not get hurt as bad if your a marijuana user because the THC actually offers a bit of protection to the cells

Like someone else already said, that isn't the way it works... They're referring to protection from free radicals mainly I believe.

You are correct. However, I think what he's intending to say is the substances used in cigarettes, like tar, are much more harmful to your lungs/overall health than the smoke of marijuana. Smoking things out of bongs with filters further reduces the harm of smoke as well.

"craving" does not mean addict. It is the beginning of a psychological addiction, something that can be fought fairly easily with substituting for something else or quitting cold turkey. It does NOT mess you up like cigarettes do. Cigarettes have a LABELED addictive substance called "nicotine" that causes you to form a physical addiction. This is much harder to quit, especially cold turkey, because of the body's physical cravings for it.

Dude, I just have to address this "protective property" even though an above poster already did. This is NOT how it works. My best guess without doing any research is that "neuroprotective properties" means that THC protects neurons by perhaps affecting their sensitivity and increasing their longevity - they don't encase cells and protect them against damage. Just because you don't feel the damage of banging your head while high doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I believe your cancer information is correct and that is a large reason for marijuana use in the health sector.

from my personal experience, in moderation its fine. I don't see how anyone can argue against that. There are some people who have a reaction to it and develop mental conditions though.
