Dancer in the dark is just the definition of a difficult movie.
It just makes your soul tremble until you feel how you inside are hollow, empty and feel only like crying out loud.
-It is hard to watch because of the plot, actors and the director.
-Another angle is the strange filming way, which is uncommon.
just makes you shake. so powerful, shows how devastating people can be. i recommend for everyone, but if you have a soft hard, you will drown the room your watching the movie in with tears. Extremely hard.

Sorry, no lol ^^" but the movie is sadder than you can imagine. left me crying... (and the last time i cried was 4 years ago)

That's from Lars von trier, one of my favorites, If your into his style, u can try Dogville(with Nicole Kidman), its pretty rough too, not to mention long, but very good.

Is this about Dogville or Dancer in the Dark? Cuz I heard that Bjork (from Dancer) hated von Trier and said she would never work with him again...
Anyway u seen Manderalay? its like the sequel to dogville... I have it on netflix, but haven't seen it yet.

yeah, it was bjork and trier on "dancer in the dark". and no, i didn't see manderalay (and actually not going to), because nicol kidman is replaced, and it's a sequal. just have too much other movies on waiting list.

Me neither! Im so excited bout it. Im curious to see how Kirsten Dunst will be in it. I haven't seen a good movie from her since Virgin Suicides I think.
