God, people piss me off. I'm not exactly a flamer (not really feminine at all), yet apparently people have been walking around in the halls saying I'm gay and I like men, and from as far as I can tell, they were being serious.
I'm only out to a very few select friends.
I don't fucking know what's going on, but that pisses me off. I'd rather not having my entire school program (150 students) making assumptions about my sexuality, even if I AM gay.

I've always had people thinking I'm gay just because I like music, sing in choirs and stuff like that. I know exactly what you mean, it really pisses me off even though I am gay that people should just assume it.

Yeah we have same stuff in our school, if you don't do boy-ish stuff people will immideatly call you gay.
You shouldn'T worry, you won't be seeing them afr several years, your real friends know you are straight. The othrs will melt away like air later :)

Honestly you might get angry over it, and I have gotten a few comments, but I don't even reply. Don't feed them and they will give up.

I've always had this too Nick.
I dont get why people believe this shit. If I was and thought they should know I would tell them, why believe someone who has no damn clue?

I'd like to say I hate it... but my behavior does kinda imply I'm gay XD
Still, most of my friends (or rather, the people who I'm on friendly terms with, my actual friends either know, or don't bother me about it) are genuinely confused about whether I'm gay or not, and I tend to avoid the people who would mock me or assume that I am.

It must be kind of threatening for people you don't want to know (or at least, know right now) to be guessing something that you thought was a secret. But there's nothing wrong with being gay, so unless people are being offensive or bullying you about it, why bother caring what they think? It's your business, not theirs.

The first part of the statement is my worry. I'm worried that they might spread it to someone who WILL care enough to bully me.

Matt, prove its not true. Or suck it up and just keep saying that it isnt true. It happens a lot.

It's really sad that if a guy dosent do what society "thinks is right for a guy" then hes immediatly called gay. The only thing that makes a guy gay, is if he is attracted to MEN AND ONLY MEN. that bugs me... >.>

Yeah, I see what you're saying. You don't have anything to prove to them, and you don't even need to respond. It's not their business, and you don't really have anything to gain by fighting them about it.

Good, David. I don't like to lie about things like my sexuality, so just denying it would make me a hypocrite. I'll just ignore it, I've learned how to do that.

Well i CAN give u an advice, something that worked perfectly fine for me :
DON'T CARE !! I mean, if someone calls u gay, just answer something like "That's what u say, and i don't give a shit about what you say" - I mean - don't give a shit about anyone at all :)
At My school, I hang out ONLY with girls all the time - not like kissing and stuff, i mean - i'm always just there with them talking and stuff, no boys...
and nobody actually calls me gay, cuz they know that i'll say that I don't care what they think of me, even though I have to see them every day.
If i'm really tired or something, and someone wants to get on my nervs and start calling me gay, then i just answer "I know" and that's it.. he has nothing to say, he goes away..
And almost the whole class are my friends. (STILL I HANG OUT ONLY WITH GIRLS)
So - DON'T CARE !!! SAY THAT U DON'T CARE WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT YOU - AND ACTUALLY DON'T CARE
and everything should be just fine..
Good luck bro :)

Alrighty now, all the people that I've told about my sexuality are all telling people about it.
It's the usual thing where that one person has to tell ONLY their best friend, then that person tells ONE person, and on and on. I want to cut necks right now.

kids will be kids,
it'll become old news,
and they'll get over it.
frustrating, annoying, stereotypical bastards.
but at the end of the day, they're just being children.
the way guys can't do certain things without 'looking gay' has always bugged me.
but thanks to society, that's the way it is, and although its becoming more socially acceptable, there's still that one person who can't keep their mouth shut.
and here we are.
Just don't let it bother you (easier said than done, i know), you are who you are and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
If they want to behave like bitchy children, so be it.

I've been ask about that a couple of times and it really pisses the hell out of me. Yeah, I know I'm BI but it's annoying when they said that you're a gay, blah blah blah. It's just because you don't do stuffs typical boys do. Bummer.
Just ignore them.

It sounds like I'm in a similar situation to you. I told a very select group of people, and some other people ended up finding out outside of that group (including teachers. Like, how does that happen?!)
Not a flamer at all, no one ever questioned me... it's sorta died down since then. I dunno how far it's even spread.
Oh well, life goes on!!
PM me if you ever want to talk..
