hi guys . There was a thread erly-er that got my atention. I never have and prob never will but wen im on a chat site and i see a dude j/o, are they breaking a law? Cuz i know omegle has a,(you can do whAtever you want policy, not sure bout chat rulet but, i just want to know someones not coming to my house and aresting me for going on the site or something.

If you or they are <18, yes they (and potentially you) are breaking the law. Broken down:
If they are over 18 and you are under 18, you are breaking the same kind of laws that restrict access to pornography. Like pornography laws though, even if you were caught, nothing would happen almost certainly. (On the other end, they are breaking laws governing lewd and indecent exposure to a minor.)
If they are under 18, they are breaking laws governing production and distribution of child pornography. You are breaking laws regarding possession of child pornography. If caught, both of you would likely get in trouble - even more likely if you're over 18 and they are under.
That said, these sites are not actively monitored; law enforcement agencies cannot just go wiretap (or equivalent) websites because they feel like it.
But the bottom line of this is really that you shouldn't be on either end of sexualized anonymous webcamming. And with that advice dispensed and in light of the many bad places this thread could go... :locked:. PM me if you have other questions.
