It's something. Even though it can even help you in some ways, my opinion is that it leads you to larger and harder drugs that can do damage. I may not have bundles of knowledge but I think I'll have some people agreeing with me.

the only way that i can see weed leading u on 2 harder drugs is bcos it is illeagal so u start 2 meet dealers and get involved wiv the whole drug world but if it was leagal then it wud be just like alcahol but wivout hangovers

Yup. I agree with the above poster. Cannabis i think leads onto harder drugs because it is illegal, when someone trys cannabis they are opened upto a underground market of anything illegal, heroin, crack, guns..whatever.

What is known about drug use..?

- Most harder drug users started off using cannabis (does this mean it's a gateway?)

- Most cannabis users tried legal drugs before smoking cannabis (are legal drugs the real gateway, like nicotene and alcohol?)

- Is cannabis a gateway drug? No, not in my opinion, i don't think there is anything behind this gateway myth.

Interesting, then why do most cannabis users not go onto harder drugs? Why do most alcohol drinkers and nicotene smokers not go onto harder drugs, but many have tried cannabis or regularily consume it?

It depends on the person... I smoke weed. But thats it. I made a promise to myself that I will never do hard drugs. If a person is going to smoke weed they need to be mature enough to not let it lead to bad things.

Cannabis in my opinion, is NOT 100% safe, of course it's not, the same applys to all drugs, including alcohol and tobacco.

However id say it's way safer than most other drugs, legal and illegal.
