It depends what you mean by open relationship with your sister... If sexual, then it could be counted as incest and therefore illigal

The only reason why incest is considered wrong is because of what will happen to the kids. If you have a bad gene, your sister will have that bad gene too, that means when you have a kid, it will have a birth defect.

But, if you are not planning on getting your sister pregnant, then it shouldn't be too bad. But keep in mind, it is considered illegal in some areas, so if it is illegal in your area, I would suggest not doing it.

You shouldn't listen to anyone who says it's simply wrong for no reason other than being wrong. If it's your sister, you can't get eachother pregnant, so nothing bad can come out of it- aside from possibly some harassment and ostracization from your peers.

I wouldn't advise against many things, but I would have to with this.
You will get a heck of a lot of harassment from having a sexual relationship with your sister - and it just seems wrong too.

However: if you really like your sister sexually and she likes you in the same way, maybe you should give it a shot. Just be prepared for a bumpy ride (no pun intended).

Would you get in a relationship with your dad? Pretty much same situation in many aspects, far too many for it to be okay. My advice is: get someone outside of your family. Judging by your other posts, sounds like she hasn't exactly lead you right in life so far.

I mean, I think a lot of people are hot but I don't wanna be with them, so ... This up there is kinda weird.

But, you know, I think people are a little bit overreacting with the whole incest-thing ... Personally I don't see anything wrong if sibilings have sexual relationship (sure, I'm an only child, so I couldn't judge, really, but I see a lot of you guys write about those stuff here). They just shouldn't have children, 'cause that's dangerous. But if you're both okay with having a relationship, even sexual ... I see no reason why not.
